Titan Infra Energy is a mining company that provides integrated coal infrastructure services in South Sumatra. With a capacity of 100 hectares of Intermediate Stockpile, the company is capable of handling 10 types of coal weighing up to 100,000 tons.
Titan Infra Energy not only provides coal logistics services, but also builds integrated road and port infrastructure. Following are some of the infrastructure facilities owned by Titan Infra Energy Group.
Coal Terminals
Maritim Sumber Energi’s coal terminal located in Bengkulu Province, Sumatra, is one of Titan Infra Energy’s best facilities. The terminal has extensive experience in providing reliable port management services so that turnaround time for ships is fast to reach well-managed stock.
The coal terminal has a water depth of 6.5 meters and can handle barges up to 300 feet. With a loading speed of 1,500 tonnes per hour and a local loading of 240 tonnes per hour. This facility will facilitate the process of shipping coal abroad.
Coal Highway
Titan Infra Energy is also one of the companies engaged in road infrastructure. One of the facilities owned is the coal toll road. This 113 km long road is famous for the special road for coal transportation from Tanjung Enim, Muara Enim, Lahat, and PALI.
The Titan coal toll road starts from the Indigenous Banjarmasin mine to the SwarnaDwipa Jaya port in Muara Lematang, PALI Regency. This facility is very important as a system to support the productivity of coal mines in South Sumatra, especially because 34 percent of the national coal reserves are in South Sumatra.
The Titan coal road is also capable of driving the local population’s economic growth. Various types of small businesses can grow and become a new source of income for the local community, such as setting up food stalls, coffee shops, tire repairs, and motorbike washing businesses.
Logistics Facility Upgrade
In facing the production target of up to 20 million tonnes of coal this year, PT Titan Infra Energy must upgrade both road and port facilities. This port upgrade is useful for facilitating the loading and unloading of coal at the wharf so that coal can be transported via two routes, namely land and river.
It is hoped that with this improved logistics facility, mining and transportation activities can run more smoothly. If logistics facilities are not renewed, mining output will not be maximized due to a bottleneck in the transportation route. Therefore, PT Titan Infra Energy must immediately update its logistics facilities to ensure the smooth running of coal production activities in South Sumatra.
