PT Bara Anugrah Sejahtera (Titan Group) at Pulau Panggung Site, Tanjung Agung District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra, has successfully organized the peak event of the National Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Month 2024.
Focus of the National OSH Month Event by PT BAS
The commemoration of the OSH Month in the Titan Group company started from January 12 to February 14, 2024, demonstrating PT Bara Anugrah Sejahtera’s commitment to improving workplace safety. Aris Study Palimbunga, Head of Mining Engineering (KTT), expressed his gratitude for the support of employees and contractors during the event.
Series of OSH Month Activities
- Peak Ceremony with the Theme “Promote Healthy and Safe OSH Culture at Work, Ensure Business Sustainability” The peak event was marked by the release of safety balloons in overcast weather. The theme “Promote Healthy and Safe OSH Culture at Work, Ensure Business Sustainability” was adopted to enhance awareness of the importance of OSH in the workplace.
- Mandate from the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia Arma Yoga Kurnia Putra, an employee representative, read out the mandate from the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia. The key point emphasized the need for companies to enhance understanding and awareness of labor norms.
- National OSH Month Activities PT Bara Anugrah Sejahtera carried out various activities such as blood donation, table tennis competitions, quiz competitions, HSE Goes To School visits to Muara Enim Superior High School, and health check-ups in three villages. These activities aimed to build a culture of OSH in the workplace and the community.
- Aspiring to Improve the OSH Culture With the National OSH Month commemoration, there is hope that efforts to improve the OSH culture will be more effective in preventing accidents. PT Bara Anugrah Sejahtera (Titan Group) aims to continue the achievement of accident-free working hours, which has reached 9,231,560 working hours since the beginning of the project in 2015.

PT Bara Anugrah Sejahtera (BAS) is an environmentally friendly medium-grade coal producer in South Sumatra. The company operates on a mining area of 2,164 hectares in Muara Enim Regency. According to the JORC Report 2019, BAS has coal resources of 185 million tons and coal reserves of 45.7 million tons. BAS coal products have a calorific value of 4,720 kcal/kg (GAR) with low ash and sulfur content.
