Residents of three villages surrounding the operations of PT Bara Anugrah Sejahtera (PT BAS), a coal mining company under the Titan Infra Energy Group, received a total of 408 bags of rice.
This assistance was provided to underprivileged residents in each village as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to close the year 2024.
Production Achievements as the Basis for Assistance
The distribution of this aid was an expression of gratitude for PT BAS’s production achievements throughout the year.
The rice was directly distributed by representatives from PT BAS Site Muara Enim in collaboration with local village officials.
The villages receiving the assistance included Tanjung Raja, Darmo, and Pulau Panggung in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra.
The Head of Tanjung Raja Village, M. Rasyid, accompanied by Public Service Officer Sangkut, expressed his gratitude to PT BAS management.
“We highly appreciate PT BAS’s concern for our residents, especially those in need. We hope the company continues to grow, and that all its employees remain healthy and prosperous,” said M. Rasyid.
Tanjung Raja Village received 136 bags of rice, which were distributed to its residents on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
Rice Distribution in Darmo Village
Similar sentiments were shared by the Head of Darmo Village, Lawang Kidul District, Ilwan Utama. He expressed his gratitude for PT BAS’s support for the local communities near the company’s operational area.
“We hope this program will continue in the future, ensuring a harmonious relationship between the company and the community,” said Ilwan.
Rice Distribution in Pulau Panggung Village
The Head of Pulau Panggung Village, Tanjung Agung District, Syafri AR, also expressed his hopes that PT BAS will continue to bring positive impacts to the surrounding environment.
“We hope PT BAS remains a company that cares, not only about the well-being of the community but also about the development of the villages around it,” said Syafri.

Meanwhile, H. Akwam, a representative from PT BAS’s Community Development, Environment, and Responsibility (CDER) Department, accompanied by Afra Abida Edlina, emphasized that this program is a tangible form of the company’s social commitment.

He also expressed appreciation for the warm reception from the village governments during the distribution process.
“Thank you to the village heads and their teams for facilitating this distribution. We also appreciate the prayers and support from the community so that PT BAS can continue to grow into a better company,” he added.
